Aamir Khan Says His Wife Kiran Rao Suggested Leaving “Intolerant” India. Twitter Reacts.

Aamir Khan has stirred the hornet’s nest by making a statement on a growing sense of “despondency” and “intolerance” in the country.

Speaking at the Ramnath Goenka Awards function of The Indian Express Group, Aamir said that his wife (Kiran Rao) even suggested that they moved out of the country because of the growing “intolerance” in the country

Surprisingly, a few people in the audience even applauded when he said that.

 

But not everyone was happy with Aamir’s sudden realization of “intolerance”, and social media was abuzz with responses, questions, arguments, jokes and everything in between
