An Asshole From Delhi Proudly Filmed Himself While Abusing A Dog. Let’s Find & Jail Him

Why do people torture dogs? Is it because they have come from a scarred childhood or maybe because they just try to take out their frustration on a weaker living thing or maybe because they do it for fun?

A Delhi-based man uploaded a video on his Facebook timeline where he was seen approaching a few stray dogs and after some time grabbed a white dog by its leg and whirling him several times. Finally, he threw the helpless dog into a parked car. All this while, the terrified dog was whining in agony, as his friend filmed the entire incident on his mobile phone.

He was identified as Dar ji alias Vatssam Kumar from Delhi. After torturing this street dog, he uploaded a video on his facebook timeline.

The act captured in the video is an offence under The Indian Penal Code and the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act of 1960. So his act is a violation of the constitution.

After coming across the video on Facebook, lawyer and columnist Shehzad Poonawalla wrote to the police chief Bhim Sain Bassi, the Commissioner of New Delhi Police and started an online campaign as well. Not only that, he has even informed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung about the video.

Torturing dogs or rather animals isn’t just clean, good fun. Such kind of an act is immature, inexcusable and unacceptable. The video is particularly disturbing and a sentence of imprisonment is the only appropriate penalty for this offence and to ensure that the standards of the community are maintained in relation to caring for all animals.
