You’ve probably heard this a million times this year, but the pandemic isn’t over yet. Anyone above the age of 45 is eligible to get vaccinated starting April 1st but social distancing still needs to be followed and masks still need to be worn in public places.
At a time when the number of infections are on a rise again, a video showing choreographer-director Farah Khan Kunder removing her mask to smell mangoes before buying them at a roadside stall has invited a lot of criticism. Take a look at the snippet here:
Some people said that it is completely unnecessary to smell them while others questioned the sense in removing the mask and handing back the fruit to the vendor.
This is a reminder for us to not be complacent and wash fresh fruits and vegetables thoroughly before consuming them.
