It’s Saturday and work is the last thing on anyone’s mind. But for those of us who work on weekends, it is inevitable to think of excuses to ditch work and play hooky. The most common ones include being under the weather, a death in the family, a close friend’s wedding and a family emergency. But there are also some which are so terrible that they aren’t the least bit believable.
According to The Indian Express, Twitter user @sydneyywhitson shared an image that her colleague sent to their employer featuring a punctured car tyre. The woman in question used the obviously fake picture to get out of work. Check it out.
my coworker called in (yet again) and said she had a nail on her tire that caused her to have a flat. i need everyone to stop what they’re doing and ZOOM IN TO THE NAIL IN THE PICTURE SHE SENT MY BOSS pic.twitter.com/4NcJGuvF4F

The post which now has 44,000 retweets and 243,000 likes had everyone roasting the employee for her laziness. The image is one of the first ones that appear when “flat tyre” is Google searched.
She literally used the first image that came up when u ask “how to fix a tire with a nail”

The Twitterati called her out for her lack of Photoshop skills and posted more realistic images that she can use in the future. Here are some of the best ones.
That's just lazy

Hope she isn't a member of your graphics or marketing team.

One user even pointed out that she shouldn’t have to send a proof in the first place.
If people need to send photo evidence of why they are off work there is a problem to begin with

Can’t say we blame her though. Because studies have shown that working for more than 5 hours a day can cause major psychological and physical distress. Which is probably why companies in the UK are now adopting 4-day work weeks.
