If you’re an elder sibling you probably feel me when I say you’re the ‘second mother’ of the house. From feeding the younger ones to taking the brunt for them, you have already done it all for these little brats.
However, the most annoying part is when our parents give the younger child the ‘special treatment’. Remember all the strict rules and regulations? I mean how many times have you been denied permission for a sleepover while the little one goes for a fun Goa trip? It’s true that the elder child always has to take one for the team. It feels like we open all the fun doors for our lovely brothers and sisters.
However, an older sister from Houston has now come to our rescue. Abby Govindan has tweeted and asked elder siblings from around the globe to unionize and demand better and equal treatment for all of us.

She mentions how she was harshly punished for smoking weed while her sister was just politely asked to not do so, for the exact same mistake.

As she called out fellow siblings, a lot of people shared their ‘unfair experiences’ on the Twitter thread:
When my mom found out I was on academic probation for having one bad semester she nearly threw me out. My little sister BARELY graduated high school (and I mean barely) and she threw her a party (I did not get one)

My mom found out on Mother's Day that I snuck and made a Facebook account. The festivities came to a dramatic, tearful end and I was ordered to make an educational powerpoint pres about FB.
My sister had a Tumblr account at 12. Y'all know what goes on there.

I always hid my boyfriends from my parents in high school. Then when I was 18 I told my dad I wanted to date my now boyfriend and he freaked tf out for months. Now my dad drives my little sister who is still in high school to her boyfriends house when they’ve have horrible issues

When I had my board exams my parents threw the books out of the house because they said I wasn’t studying at all.
When it was her time to appear for the board exams all my younger sister did was play clash of clans— Mr Oshiro (@UltraVirgin69) December 16, 2019
My parents told me they would call the cops on me without a second thought if they ever caught me drinking. Fast forward seven years to my sister's high school graduation, when my dad asked my sister what kind of beer she wanted. 🕵🏼♀️

Aren’t these tweets really relatable? Or are you the younger sibling who will blatantly deny these privileges? Let us know in the comments below.
