Elon Musk Unveiled A New Roadster That Goes 0-100 In 1.9 Secs And Twitter Is Freaking Out!

I wonder what it must be like in Elon Musk’s brain. So many explosive genius ideas, amazing innovations and a thirst to go where no one has gone before. His vision to change the world and humanity is realised through his many ventures, which include Neuralink, SpaceX, Tesla Inc. and the Hyperloop (which might soon come to India too!).

Safe to say, his brain must be one busy place!

Any automobile fanatic will tell you what an absolute revolution Tesla Motors’s Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) have been. The Roadster, a model launched in 2008 was quite popular, until it was discontinued in 2012.

When asked whether there would an upgrade to this cult favourite Roadster model, Elon Musk had us all believe it wouldn’t be anytime soon.

But geniuses probably count ‘some years’ a little differently, or maybe just like a good show, because last night, at Tesla’s Semi unveiling event, the inventor surprised one and all with the Return of the Roadster!

Prepare to have your mind blown to tiny fragments because this slick, red hot machine has an external body and interiors to die for. Let’s not even get started on all the tech that comes with it. But its crowning glory? A record-shattering 0-100 km/h in 1.9 sec!

In the words of Elon Musk himself, the Roadster will be “the world’s fastest production car” and a “smackdown to the fossil fuel-addicted auto industry.

Rolling onto the stage to the beats of Beastie Boys’ Sabotage, a proud Elon Musk announced that the second generation Roadster is a four-seater BEV with a 200kwh battery pack and over a 1000 km range per charge!

There was some pretty noticeable astonishment and drooling as well as heaps of praise for Elon Musk all over Twitter!

I mean, of course! Apart for the stunning looks, the car is yet another revolution that Elon Musk promised and has duly delivered!
