Time if fluid and the only way to capture it is in the little moments clicked at the right time in the right light. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words. Or so I’ve heard. From stunning snowy engagement to old couples’ forever love, photoshoots are the new way of expressing your emotions.
Then are there people who love having a themed photoshoot because of something they love. Like this nerdy couple here.
Jackie Nguyen and Nate Huntley have taken set the new standard for themed engagement photoshoots. The couple’s Dynamic Duo shoot paid homage to their most favourite pairs from pop culture. From the “Wet Bandits” of “Home Alone” to Michael Scott and Dwight Schrute from “The Office”, they did it all.
According to a report in The Huffington Post, Nguyen said,
“Nate and I are huge nerds. We are completely obsessed with the majority of couples we paid tribute to and have a genuine love for being a bit kooky.”
Their friend Isaac James is also a photographer and they decided to pitch their idea to him. He was immediately on board with it. It took almost a year to get the whole photoshoot done, wherein they travelled to different places in New York City as well as a trip to New Jersey.
Their Dynamic Duo photo-shoot is really setting couple goals now, I’m telling you. Check out their pictures and decide for yourself.

Nguyen also said this was her favourite part to shoot because both the movies are her favourite and also because this was exactly where the movie scene was shot too.
3. The classic Yoko Ono and John Lennon.
The resemblance is uncanny.
4. This one’s my personal favourite. Ellie Sattler and Alan Grant from Jurassic Park.
5. The timeless classic couple – Jack and Rose from Titanic. *tears*
6. Peggy always got your back, Captain America!
7. They should make a movie of this cross-fandom – Thor meets Harry Potter.
8. Bringing back the dark humour with BoJack Horseman.
The couple, both actors, met in 2014 while working on a production in North Carolina. They had short-lived two-month romance but had to part ways due to different productions they were working on. A week after that, Jackie was diagnosed with alopecia, a disease that causes hair fall. Nguyen said,
“Nate took the initiative to shave his head with me so that I would not face the ominous task of being bald alone. He asked me to be his official girlfriend. We have been inseparable ever since.”
True love is really unexplainable. What started as a summer fling for these two turned out to be more than what either of them had in mind. Now here they are, planning an outlandish wedding, set to take place in April. If they were so OTT for their engagement shoot, I think it will suffice to leave the wedding prep to your imagination.
