The internet is full of viral videos and this time, a CCTV clip of a Lokayukta DSP fighting with his neighbour wearing just his underwear is doing rounds online. The video is from Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
According to a report by India Today, the DSP of the Ujjain Lokayukta unit, Vedant Sharma was being bothered by the construction debris and dust falling on his BMW car that was coming from his neighbour’s house. Therefore, every day he used to have a spat with the construction workers.
However, when his neighbour, Sandeep Vij, a retired bank officer, was informed about this by the people in their locality, he came down to Indore from Gujarat to resolve the issue. They are residents of the Lakshya Vihar Colony in the Kanadia area of Indore.
Vij went to meet DSP Sharma, however, they got into an argument post which he started beating him up.
Their fight was captured on the CCTV camera. In the footage, the DSP was seen attacking Vij while covering just his lower body with a towel. Vij also retaliated with a couple of punches. And while in the fight, the DSP’s towel fell off his waist and he was left with only his underwear. Despite that, the DSP continued fighting with Vij until he ran off from the place.
Moments later, the DSP goes inside his home, wraps his towel and comes back with a stick with the intention to attack his neighbour again.
Both the parties have filed a complaint at the nearest police station explaining their version of the story to the cops. However, no FIR has been registered yet.
