There Might Be A ‘Dil Chahta Hai 2’ With A Kickass Bollywood-Girl Trio. Any Guesses?

Bollywood love sequels. And so does the movie-going crowd. While films like ‘Rock On 2’ and ‘Kahaani 2‘ are ready to hit the big screens this year, there is one that has all of us waiting. The much anticipated ‘Dil Chahta Hai 2’! And guess who really might star in what, we can safely assume is going to be a super fun film. Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra and Shraddha Kapoor!

It was actually Alia who first expressed her desire to work with Farhan Akhtar in the sequel of Dil Chahta Hai (DCH), in an interview last year. She went on to say, 

“Pari (Parineeti), Shraddha and I should work in the sequel to Dil Chahta Hai (DCH) as three friends. I think that’s a superb idea. It will be so much fun.”

We couldn’t agree more, Alia!

 

Now, it looks like Farhan might have have taken a cue. In a recent chat with Hindustan Times, he opened up about it. 

“I got to know that Alia wants to do a DCH part 2 with Shraddha and Parineeti.

That [thought] stayed in my head, and I am thinking about it very strongly, but this time with three girls [as the protagonists]. We will see how it goes.”

Imagine, the three taking trips.

 

Farhan also pulled Alia’s legs discussing the sequel at a movie screening. He told her, he is considering making DCH 2 with three girls. And when the excited Alia asked him if he we has serious. He said,

“Yes, and you will love it when you watch it.”

Good sense of humour there, Farhan. In anyway, we can’t wait for this one!
