Mahendra Singh Dhoni may have retired from captaincy but he has several other titles in his kitty! And he lives up to each of them quite perfectly!
Like, did you know that he has been bestowed with the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel of the Indian Army? And a couple of days ago, he put it to good use!
Recently, MS Dhoni visited aspiring cricketers in the town Uri in Kashmir’s Baramullah district and spoke to them at length about sports and fitness.
And look, he even dressed in his complete army uniform! From his Team India jersey to his Lt. Col. regalia, Mahi can do justice to it all!
The official Twitter handle of the Chinar Corps shared pictures of the former captain’s visit, which shows him not just interacting with the cricketers but also showing them how he does what he does best!
Dhoni also shared some expert advice about giving fitness the highest priority, followed by skill.

And of course, there were loads of photo ops with the army cadets and locals.
It could be a little difficult to spot our former Captain Cool here, amidst all these men in uniform, chiefly because we’re so used to seeing him in his Team India jersey! So here goes!
Aren’t these young sportspeople so lucky to get tips from the best of the best? We’re hoping he even showed them a few tricks about hitting his famous helicopter shot, finisher six, and keeping his cool in times of crisis!
