Arvind Kejriwal is, by far, one of the most trolled politicians in the country after Rahul Gandhi. And that wouldn’t even have been a problem had the trolls and memes been positive. Our dear Kejru is attracting the social media for all the wrong reasons, and he just gave us another reason.
The Delhi Government has banned any demonstrations, protests, or dharnas around the residence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal “in view of serious law and order problems,” and the irony is strong with this one.
“It has been reported that various political parties and pressure groups may hold protests, demonstrations, dharnas, processions etc on political and others issues in front, near or around the residence of the chief minister… which may create serious law & order problems.”
This would be like Balaji Telefilms banning intense saas-bahu dramas in Ekta Kapoor’s home, or Rakesh Roshan banning the entry of aliens in Hrithik’s cosy new home. But, oh well, the irony went unnoticed by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) BK Jha, who issued the order to prevent public nuisance.
And this ironic news hasn’t gone unnoticed by social media as well, as tweets outlining it have started pouring in, with quirky and hilarious hashtags accompanying them.

Why will Kejriwal allow others to do dharna near his home? Ever saw a Halwai allowing someone else sell sweets in his shop?

As this situation gets out of hand on social media as well as real press, take a moment to ponder over just how the irony has escaped everyone.
