1. Forest Research Institute, Dehradun

Nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, the Forest Research Institute (FRI) is a premier institute in the field of forestry in India. Founded in 1868 as the ‘British Imperial Forest School’, FRI is one of the oldest institutions of its kind in the world.
