11 Characters Only The Hottest Man On Earth, George Clooney Could’ve Pulled Off

Sexiest man alive.

Whenever someone says that the only name that materializes in my head is George Clooney. The salt and pepper haired man, has not just mesmerized us with his never aging looks but also with his unforgettable contribution to the world of cinema, every character blending and exuding his personal charm.

Here are a few of the best performances of the hottest man on earth.

1. Danny Ocean (Ocean’s Trilogy)

The charismatic Danny Ocean and his ridiculous and intelligent team of conmen took us on a roller coaster ride of watching one of the most thrilling robbery themed movies of all time. After the success of Ocean’s Eleven, the makers went on to make a trilogy which thrilled us equally.

Danny’s impeccable charm and sly, slightly off-timed comic timing made this movie even better. What is worth noticing though is the chemistry between Danny’s character and Brad Pitt’s. They both have their differences and habits (Danny with his rules and Rusty with his eating) that make these movies a cult.

2. Miles Massey (Intolerable Cruelty)

Oh, Miles. This is probably the most organic as well as most unreal roles of Clooney. Miles is a stellar divorce attorney who hasn’t lost a case yet and is the undisputed king of prenups and when he is at his highest point, he meets his nemesis in Catherine Zeta-Jones’ character. It’s one of those movies which do not really fit into any genre and go along with a smooth pace of thrill, comedy, and comic tragedy, and Clooney clearly shines with his exuberant charm and vocational skills.

3. Matt Kowalski (Gravity)

Gravity.

The concept of the movie itself is highly unnerving, what’s even more unnerving is the portrayal of Captain Matt Kowalski by Clooney which makes us cry every time, even at his corny sense of humor and the scene in which we lose him and which technically means death in space.

4. Ryan Bingham (Up In The Air)

Clooney plays the role of a corporate downsizer who specializes in firing people. His character prefers that his personal life is as uncluttered as possible and gives motivational speeches for others to follow suite. And he is in for a shock when his life takes a complete 360-degree turn and he stumbles upon people who change his viewpoint on life forever. It’s a heartwarming story of the way rejections are faced by everyone and the characters, especially of Clooney’s is insanely human and real.

5. Bob Barnes (Syriana)

An angry and irritated CIA agent stuck into the various political web of the war out of which he gets nothing but frustration and death. The movie is an intensely complex rendition on the war culture of the world and how lives are uprooted everywhere for the greed of a few.

Clooney generally plays a classy, sharp and slick chap but in this movie, right from the texture of his look, to his speech delivery and his character all are organic and rugged. He almost doesn’t look like Clooney anymore, he loses himself to that extent. He also went on to win an Oscar for this role.

6. Frank Stokes (The Monuments Men)

The movie is based on the real-life story of soldiers who fought to preserve art at the time of human turmoil proving when art dies, civilization ceases to exist. And that is the most important and the only form of expression people have to represent themselves. It’s a simple message delivered immaculately by the movie and the character of Frank Stokes who was the leader and the motivator of this team of art chaperones.

7. Captain Billy Tyne (The Perfect Storm)

The very, very true story of a boat stuck into a storm is worth a watch and legendary in its own escape and Clooney perfectly captures the ruggedness of a seafaring Captain stuck in one of the worst storms that have hit a boat on the sea and the essence of a man stuck in water with no help.

8. Governor Mike Morris (Ides Of March)

The only person who could’ve pulled off the charismatic Governor Mike Morris running for one of the most important elections in the history of the world is Clooney. Nobody would’ve fit there as well as Clooney did. The movie is a complete political thriller that you should watch at least once in your life as it’ll extend and develop all your understanding about politics.

9. Seth Gecko (From Dusk Till Dawn)

Did you know the hottest man on the planet has played a vampire?

The vampire fangirls are going to go crazy now because he did. In this Tarantino thriller, Clooney plays a vampire with a very grim understanding of the world. The movie is full of gory stuff and George Clooney is around it, sans the class picture perfect figure we’ve always seen!

10. Lyn Cassady (The Men Who Stared At Goats)

This is probably one of those movies which you’ll never be able to forget.

Clooney plays the character of Lyn Cassady who believes he is an ex-army officer recruited for the New Earth Army deploy and has to make the earth better along with these two other nutters he encounters. It’s a must watch for all Clooney fans.

11. Fred Friendly (Good Night and Good Luck)

The very real Fred Friendly who was a celebrated TV and radio producer was portrayed by Clooney as an homage to the world of journalism and the stellar cast which includes Robert Downey Jr. and Jeff Daniels, Hits hard at the core and reveals the work that goes into building a journalistic empire.

Thank you for existing, George Clooney. <3
