So the Pokémon GO craze has certainly set in, and it has no plans of stopping, judging by the sheer amount of users on it since just a week of the app releasing. People are finding dead bodies because of it, are getting real good exercise, and basically getting other things done which otherwise wouldn’t have been possible, while playing on the app.
Recently, a guy in New York got caught cheating on his girlfriend, all because of Pokémon GO. No kidding.
“She saw that I had caught a Pokémon while at my ex’s house.”
The game uses your phones GPS and mapping software to record where you’ve captured certain Pokémon. A little peek through their latest catches and you’ll know where they’ve travelled. This is exactly what Evan Scribner’s girlfriend did, and found out he had caught a Pokémon at his ex’s house.
Scribner, who lives in Queens, wasn’t able to give a good enough excuse as to what he was doing in Bushwick catching Pokémon.
“She found out last night at my house and hasn’t contacted me since then.”
Looks like Evan wanted a thrill too much, which cost him a relationship. Guess he should’ve paid heed to the ‘be alert’ advice that is displayed at the start of the game every time.
