From military to air force, women officers are taking the lead in the Indian armed forces making our country proud. The milestones achieved by them are surely praiseworthy. Captain Kalpana Kundu has added another feather to the already decked up cap of women in the Indian army.
Captain Kalpana, medical officer of the Indian army took part in the high altitude patrol in the Himalayas spread across Arunachal Pradesh on June 20. She provided a medical cover to the army officers posted in the extreme climatic conditions in the Himalayas.
The Indian Army Medical Corps provides medical services to all army personnel and their families. Accordingly, being a part of the team, Captain Kalpana provided medical assistance to Indian soldiers deployed along the Chinese border, reported TOI.
The Indian Army shared pictures of Captain Kalpana from her patrol and lauded her for her extraordinary efforts from their official Twitter handle.
