“I Had Asked Papa To Get Me Passed But He Went Ahead And Made Me Topper,” Says Bihar Topper

When it comes to the Bihar topper Ruby Rai, new stories are unravelling every day.

Investigations revealed that there was a serious case of money laundering going on. She was summoned for a retest in which she was asked to write about Tulsidas and she just wrote “Pranam“.

Ruby Rai has been arrested and her result stands cancelled. During her interrogations, she owned up to the scam and blamed her father. She said, “I had only told Papa to get me passed but they went ahead and made me topper.” (Maine to Papa se kaha tha pass karwa dijiye, unhone ne to top hi karwa diya).

I guess her father wasn’t satisfied with his daughter getting passed so he tried whatever he could!

Manu Maharaj, Patna special SP, is heading this investigation and he revealed that Ruby Rai knew she didn’t deserve to be a topper.

This incident paints an appalling picture of the state of education in our country where money decides your ranking.

And that’s a disturbing trend which needs to be curbed.
