India, as a nation, is obsessed with movies. In fact, Indian cine goers are probably the only kind who’d build temples for their favourite stars. But unfortunately, the captain of the ship, the director somehow is left with very little or none light to bask in, that in comparison to the shower of love bestowed on actors.

Not that they do not deserve any, but in my humble opinion, the directors are the reason why a movie sees the light of the day and it’s high time we acknowledged that. While we are still acknowledging them, let me remind you of a few finest in the industry who hit the nail with their first!
