20 Pictures From Bengaluru LGBT Pride Parade That Show Why India Can Never Lose Its Colour

Pride parades are marches celebrating the culture and pride of the ‘LGBTQIA’ (Lesbian, Gay Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex and Asexual) community. Over the years, such events have become a common affair in various Indian cities as well. The ‘Namma Pride 2016‘ was a similar event organised in Bengaluru on 20th November, the ‘International Day of Transgender Remembrance’.

The rainbow flag was flying high on the streets of Bengaluru as thousands of people marched from Tulasi Thota near City Railway Station to Town Hall in solidarity with the LGBTQIA community. This year the walk was organised to emphasise on the increasing ‘Transphobia’. Look at some of the most beautiful pictures from the event.
