Pride parades are marches celebrating the culture and pride of the ‘LGBTQIA’ (Lesbian, Gay Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex and Asexual) community. Over the years, such events have become a common affair in various Indian cities as well. The ‘Namma Pride 2016‘ was a similar event organised in Bengaluru on 20th November, the ‘International Day of Transgender Remembrance’.
