As you may know, Bengaluru is currently experiencing massive floods because of torrential rainfall that took place in the past couple of days. The poshest areas of the city including Bellandur, HSR Layout, and Whitefield, that house some of the top companies, have been waterlogged.
Some people have been forced to go to the office on tractors, while others continue to work from home. However, one person decided to work from a coffee shop and set up his entire desktop there!
A guy named Sanket Sahu took to Twitter to share a picture from a branch of Third Wave Coffee in Bengaluru where the guy was seen working at a table with his desktop full-fledged setup. Apparently, his office was flooded, causing him to work from the coffee shop. Why couldn’t he work from home instead? One might ask.
I just saw a group working from the Third Wave Coffee with "a full-fledged desktop setup" because their offices are flooded 🤯@peakbengaluru pic.twitter.com/35ooB1TOqU

Several people online had a lot of questions and a lot many things to say about this. Have a look:
if your startup moves their desktops to third wave coffee to maintain flow, I don’t care what your product is just DM me and I’ll invest $50k

One of the reasons why startups from Bangalore do not start in a house garage https://t.co/Xz3oKpK41c

If the coffee shop is going to look as high strung and stressful as the office, what's the point even. I still prefer a cafe masquerading as a place to work than a co-working space masquerading as a cafe. https://t.co/lEYltNH3h3

It is the third wave of the monsoon in Bengaluru, after all.
Just heard horror stories from a friend last night, of folks who were visiting friends' houses for the #IndiaVPak match in Bengaluru in affected areas, and reached home after 48 hours! @Kamleshb12 https://t.co/CNaSJ2fn5C

He could have worked from home, but several parts of the city have been experiencing power cuts and a shortage of drinking water. Maybe he had no other option left!
