Unacademy CEO’s Family Evacuated From Society On Tractor Amid Floods In Bengaluru

Bengaluru has been struggling with constant torrential rains for the last couple of days. Even though a major part of the silicon valley of India is submerged under water, people are using tractors and JCB as their means of transport to reach their offices.

The authorities are continuously evacuating people from flood-affected areas which include the CEOs and founders of leading companies and start-ups.

And among them was the family of Unacademy CEO Gaurav Munjal and his pet dog who were recently evacuated from their society, which has also been affected by flood water.

Taking to Twitter, the entrepreneur shared a short clip of his family and dog sitting on a tractor while they were taken to a safe location.

Looking at the worrying situations in the city, he also asked people to directly message him in case they need any help.

Thankfully, the water level is receding and the city is looking forward to returning to normalcy soon. However, according to a report by Times Now, a thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rain is expected to impact Belagavi, Bagalkote, Bengaluru (Urban), Bengaluru (Rural), Chickbalapura, and Kolar in the next three hours.

We pray for the safety of those affected by floods in Bengaluru. Stay strong!
