One of the most mesmerising visual treats is a full moon. All those movies and books which elaborate on the beauty of the moon are absolutely never exaggerating because it is, in fact, romantic, gorgeous, charming, and everything along those lines!
However, there was something special about the moon yesterday. Last night was an occasion called the ‘Pink Moon’.
The Pink Moon is a nickname for the April’s Full Moon which is a classic folklore reference to moss pink, or wild ground phlox, whose pinkish flowers are among spring’s earliest flowers in the eastern United States.
In some regions across the world, last night the moon appeared to be slightly tainted pink. Netizens, absolutely fascinated by the view, took on social media to post pictures of the Pink Moon.

Besides the ‘Pink Moon’, April’s Full Moon has other cute nicknames too like the sprouting grass moon, the egg moon and the fish moon! The next full moon will appear on May 18 and that’s nicknamed ‘Flower Moon’.
I know it isn’t possible, but I’m hoping that it’s gonna come out in the shape of a flower!
