However, ignoring the current sentiments and sensitivity of the hour, someone decided to shower hate on the ‘Gendha Phool’ singer and even wished for his passing away and penned, “Tu Kab Marega?”

On his post for KK, a user penned a hateful comment the screenshot of which was later shared by the singer on his IG stories.

“Just to give you an idea what sort of hate we face on an everyday basis,” he wrote while sharing the screengrab without revealing the troll’s identity.

Just these four words are sending chills to my spine. How can someone be so emotionless to wish for someone’s death? Well, this comment made Badshah overwhelmed with grief.

In another IG story, he penned:

“What you see is an illusion, what you hear is a lie, some dying to meet you, some pray for you to die.”

Earlier when Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead, singers like AP Dhillon and Mika Singh opened up on the threats and hate that Punjabi artists receive on a regular basis. Badshah’s incident justifies their comments.

This is making me sick to my stomach. Have we lost all humanity and compassion for each other? The world is going through a lot and almost every day a family is losing their family member. Even after witnessing so much pain and suffering, we long for someone’s death. How?
