This Is The Coolest Village In India With The Most Badass Dadis

The village Johri, in UP, is home to Prakashi Tomar 74 and her sister-in-law Chandro 79. You wouldn’t imagine anything out of the ordinary about this, except they are sharp-shooters. That’s right. They both started shooting when Prakashi was 60 and they have never looked back.

Even though initially they had to face much ridicule from the men in the society, and after training 3 generations of women shooters, they managed to break the gender stereotype. The village has become famous as the ‘dadiyon ka gaon’ and has given the Indian Olympic team 30 shooters.

Trained by Dr. Rajpal Singh – who also taught Rajeev Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi how to shoot, these women have been revolutionizing the way men look at the women of the village.
