It’s been little over a week since Prime Minister Narendra Modi dropped the bomb of demonetisation on us. While half of the people are busy queuing up in lines in front of banks ATMs (even as we speak) the rest of the folks have taken shelter in banks! Now, unless you’re a mining baron and splurging 500 crores on a wedding, chances are you have felt the pinch too.
The cash crunch is real but that doesn’t stop anybody to come up with out-of-the-box ideas to wait now, does it? In what can be called as a classic example of ‘desperate times, call for desperate measures’ people (the innovative lot) have found a way to relax their leg muscles.
From pass books to bottles, from slippers to stones, there isn’t much left to imagination. See for yourself.
1. Let the stones do the waiting. Genius!
This is what one should do if you can't stand in queue for long before bank !! Ongallur in Kerala. @RBI @FinMinIndia #DeMonetisation pic.twitter.com/pIvSEPxQgR

3. “Do you happen to have an extra paper, da?”
Queue for ATM in #Kerala – name written on a piece of paper and a stone placed on top of it…! 😝 #മലയാളീസ് #DeMonetisation #LifeHack pic.twitter.com/jFtwR0W1gW

4. Of misplaced Identities!
not sure where that's from exactly – my hunch is it's from North Kerala somewhere. Tho, this one's from SBI Ongallur, Palakkad. pic.twitter.com/5NNpRd8oTJ

6. Slipper serpentine from Varanasi!
Now this is called true unity in diversity. Don’t you think?
