“I Resign From Bollywood,” Says Anubhav Sinha, Hansal Mehta & Sudhir Mishra Follow Suit

Many directors from the Hindi film industry have recently been very vocal on social media on the nepotism debate, some engaging in a war of words while others talking about various other aspects. Amidst the chaotic circumstances, director Anubhav Sinha, who had earlier spoken up on the nepotism debate, took to Twitter to make a big announcement and he did not mince his words while doing so.

Best known for his films ‘Thappad’ and ‘Article 15’, he shared a series of tweets in which he declared that he’s had “enough” and is set to “resign from Bollywood”. Check out the tweet below:-

To set the record straight, he even changed his Twitter bio from ‘Anubhav Sinha’ to ‘Anubhav Sinha (Not Bollywood)’.

After his decision went viral, many fans were left wondering whether his decision to ‘resign’ from Bollywood meant that he would discontinue filmmaking as well. Following the confusion, the director again took to Twitter to better clarify his plans going forward. He posted a series of tweets:-
