Rohtak Girl Gangraped, Mutilated, Murdered For Refusing Marriage. Will This Ever End?

Not many days have passed since the benchmark verdict of the Supreme Court in the Nirbhaya case. The case that jolted the entire nation, leaving its people in a terrible aftermath of delayed justice and burdened conscience. Yes, the convicts have now been sent to the gallows but women safety is still choking under the watchful eyes of the so-called guardians! And choking doesn’t even explain it…

I say this because another gory incident has surfaced in the Rohtak area of Haryana and make no mistake, it will send chills down your spine.

According to reports, a young girl was brutally gang-raped by over 7 men allegedly and murdered in Haryana’s Rohtak after she was abducted on 9 May from Sonepat.

It came to the light of the day when the victim’s mutilated body was found in an empty plot.

 

Ongoing investigation suggests that the arrested, Sumit and Vikas raped her before they smashed her head with a brick and left her body mutilated.

However, according to the parents of the deceased, at least five to six youth abducted her from the gate of a private company after she refused a marriage proposal from Sumit. The forensic team stated, 

 

The victim’s mother has also said that the accused had been pressurising and harassing her daughter for marriage for the past one year.

 

Talking about the barbarity, the police is also shocked at the way she was left to die.

Sharp-edged objects had been inserted into the private parts of the victim.

 

Meanwhile, the grieving parents have demanded nothing but justice.
