Do you know why the winter of 2018 was a landmine of wedding inspiration? Right, it’s when Deepika and Priyanka got married and their wedding pictures took social media by storm! It’s almost like after their wedding, a certain template of happy pictures have been set from the various pre-wedding and wedding rituals. And the same is being followed by actor Ankita Lokhande.
The ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actor is soon to tie the knot with Vicky Jain in Mumbai. They recently hosted a dreamy mehendi ceremony where the bride and the groom are seen happily drenched in the shaadi spirit. The outfits, colours, smiles, decor, and everything else is just…wow!
According to Hindustan Times, Ankita and Vicky had a “floral and ivory colour” palette for their mehendi ceremony. The two are dressed in ensembles by designer Siddhartha Bansal. Ankita’s lehenga set included a backless choli that came with a “plunging V neckline, floral thread embroidery in festive shades like pink, green, orange, yellow and more, cowl-draped sleeves, and sequin embellishments done all over”. The blouse was paired with a matching lehenga with similar embroidery and a “contrasting broad gota border”. Vicky, on the other hand, matched her with an ivory bandhgala sherwani with floral prints.
