Amul Took A Hilarious Dig At Udta Punjab Controversy And It’s Accurate On All Levels

Udta Punjab’s controversy refuses to boil down. With Censor Board asking for so many cuts and Pahlaj Nihalani defending his claims that the movie will malign the name of Punjab, it remains to be seen what future lies ahead for the movie.

Amidst all of this, Amul found a streak of humour and came up with a poster that perfectly summed up this controversy, just like they did on Tanmay Bhat controversy.

 

Their poster features Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh as cartoon characters.

The caption ‘Ladta Pahlaj’ is hilarious and it refers to Pahlaj Nihalani’s claims and the inexplicable censorship targeting a well-documented prevailing problem of Punjab.

You can also see ‘GoodTha Butter’ written below and the big scissors referring to the 89 cuts in the movie.
