As an industry, Bollywood is fickle, to say the least. Yes, there is talent and in abundance, but in this age of digitisation, technicalities triumph over everything. However, amidst all, there still is a voice that soothes the soul of the listener. If you haven’t guessed it yet, it is Alka Yagnik and her melodious voice that brings me solace like nothing else.
