Akshay Kumar is set to drop his next film ‘Ram Setu’ on Diwali this year. Starring co-stars Satya Dev, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez, the film is said to be centred around the Adam’s Bridge, a chain of limestone shoals linking Tamil Nadu to Sri Lanka. It is also the only archaeological and historical evidence for the epic ‘Ramayana’.
Here’s a look at the poster shared by Akshay. The actor stands alongside Satya Dev and Jacqueline staring with wonder at the architectural marvel.

However, people were quick to notice certain irregularities in the poster. First, why did Akshay need a mashaal when Jacqueline has a fully functional torch in her hand?
Jacqueline has a battery operated torch still Akshay Kumar is using Mashal to look around. Says a lot about director’s eye for details.https://t.co/gtpZDBMuWv

Some even claimed that the movie is a rip-off of the film ‘National Treasure’.

Definitely a copy of National Treasure!! Touch and Mashal together, seems to be a very shoddy job!! Someone has rightly said, "Nakkal के लिए भी akkal chiaye!!" https://t.co/qEpTXiOgzT

The entire surrounding is so well-lit, that woman has a powerful electric torch, and yet here you are, holding a fire torch to see god knows what! Hilarious poster! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Why don’t you borrow torch from Jacquline instead of carrying masal.

A ‘Harry Potter’ reference!
Deathly hallows symbol. Waiting for a chaddiwala to claim that before deathly hallows was mentioned in Harry Potter, it was mentioned in Vedas thousands of years ago.#SabChangaSi https://t.co/mXixDXCCh6
