The molestation incident in Bengaluru this new year’s eve completely eliminated our right to be called a progressive society. While the fact that such a deplorable incident took place in this day and age is utterly disgusting but the part which truly disappoints me is that certain factions of society made an attempt to justify it. ‘It happens’ is the most cowardly thing to say when you try to justify their actions or your own lack of action.

There seems to be a glitch in the evolutionary process which needs to be purged as soon as possible if we are to move in the direction of a progressive society.
