Travelling by air doesn’t always go as smoothly as planned. Sometimes passengers forget their luggage or the flight gets delayed due to unavoidable circumstances. Irrespective of what the reason is, such incidences may leave us with unpleasant memories.
Like, recently, an argument between an angry passenger and the cabin crew onboard a flight resulted in a huge fight involving physical assault.

It all started when an angry passenger aboard a Brussels Airlines flight started yelling at a male flight attendant who was trying to get him to sit down, reports the Indian Express. In a video filmed by the man’s wife, he is heard screaming, “You don’t put your hands on me!” as the crew member repeatedly asks the man to calm down.
During the verbal altercation, the passenger threatened to “beat the s**t out” of the flight attendant while his wife accused the steward of hitting her husband first.
According to the Daily Mail, the fight reportedly broke out after the passenger alleged that flight attendants refused to help his mother-in-law who was being assaulted by the person seated next to her. According to him, his mother-in-law, who was seated in the middle, was being elbowed by the two men on either side.
In the midst of all this chaos, the flight attendant’s supervisor, a woman dressed in a red uniform, intervened to calm things down. However, the irate passenger told her to “shut the f*** up!”. As her peaceful attempts failed, the supervisor warned the husband that he would get in trouble.
When the supervisor eventually threatened to call the police, the man and his wife claimed that the flight attendant had escalated the situation by touching him, reports the New York Post. As the passenger and supervisor went back and forth, he started inching closer to her face.
And, at one point the supervisor paused to wipe away the passenger’s spit off her cheek. She then slapped him in the face. The man responded by striking back and hitting her hard in the face.
The video ended with the man’s wife yelling “Get the f*** off of him!” as other passengers intervened and restrained the man. The airline authorities haven’t commented on the situation yet. Such horrific instances can often be avoided if people keep calm and maintain civic sense while travelling.
