TV Actor Poses & Dances Around Uprooted Tree, Gets Slammed For Romanticizing Cyclone

Cyclone Tauktae has caused massive destruction in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Kerala and other coastal areas in the past 3 days. Visuals of uprooted trees, broken houses, and floods took over social media and it was a heartbreaking sight. Several people have been missing in both Mumbai and Gujarat and a few casualties have been reported.

Amidst the chaos, one actress named Deepika Singh, who starred in the Hindi serial ‘Diya Aur Bati Hum’, took to Instagram to post pictures of herself posing and dancing around a fallen tree that was uprooted due to the cyclone near her house.

“You can’t calm the storm, so stop trying. What you can do is calm yourself, embrace nature and its gloomy moods because the storm will pass,” she wrote.

Screenshots of her post were soon shared on Twitter by a user and it went viral, gathering several conflicting reactions.

While some accused her of romanticizing a natural calamity, others supported her by saying that she just wanted to have some fun amidst the chaos.

Also, I wish I had even half of her level of motivation to get me through every day. 🙄
