Aamir Khan Assures Dialysis Centre For Anupam Shyam Then Allegedly Stops Using His Phone

A few days ago, veteran actor Anupam Shyam passed away in Mumbai after suffering from multiple organ failure. According to NDTV, he was admitted to the hospital after suffering a kidney infection. He had an acting career spanning over 30 years and worked in films like ‘Satya’, ‘Dil Se’, ‘Lagaan’ and the popular TV show ‘Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya’.

Anurag Shyam, who is the brother of the late actor, recently revealed that their mother passed away last month. Anupam wanted to visit his mother, who stayed in UP’s Pratapgarh, but couldn’t go due to his kidney infection as it would have been too risky. There were no dialysis centres in Pratapgarh where he could be admitted in case his condition worsened.

“Our family has been facing a lot. My mother died last month. Anupam was shocked that he could not go to Pratapgarh. Without a dialysis centre in the town, going there would have been a major health risk for Anupam. We urged for a dialysis centre in Pratapgarh.”

According to Hindustan Times, Anurag went on to claim that Anupam sought help from Aamir Khan and that the latter assured him that a dialysis centre would be built in Pratapgarh. But he alleged that Aamir stopped picking up their calls later.

“Anupam even went to Aamir Khan for the same. He gave us the assurance but stopped picking our calls after a few months.”

As this news of Aamir Khan went viral, many people online expressed their disappointment in the actor. However, fans came forward to defend him. Some even shared articles reporting that back in February, Aamir had decided to go on a “communication detox” and switched off his phone completely to focus on his upcoming projects.
