The third pink-ball test match between India and England got over in just two days as the Men in Blue won by 10 wickets and took a 2-1 series lead. Today, he tweeted about ideas being sold like products and how we shouldn’t ‘buy’ them and stand by our own opinions instead.
Products are sold using various marketing strategies and that’s an accepted practice! We now live in an era where ideas are also being sold to us and it’s a classic example of “outbound marketing”, however I would like to add that buying ideas being sold to us is like telling us

“you can’t think on your own” and here we will teach you how to think and also help you think the way we want you to think. After having played the game at this level for a decade, I can safely say that “As long as we are going to buy it, they will shove it down our throat”.

Finally. We can always have and stand by our opinions even if it’s against the majority as long as we know that it is our own and not the one thats been sold to us!
“The choice is always ours”

This left a lot of people online confused as they began trying to figure out what he was trying to say.

Some people suggested that it was a reply to those who had called into question the quality of the pitch and wicket in Ahmedabad.
People selling the idea that the Motera Pitch was poor!

Ek match ke liye aesa wicket theek hai jaha ballebaaz ki skill aur takaneek ka test hota hai . LEKIN main iss tara ka wicket aur nahi dekhna chahta aur mujhe lagta hai ki saare khiladi bhi nahi chahte . Bohut ache , india 🇮🇳 🙏

finished in 2 days Not sure if that’s good for test cricket !If @anilkumble1074 and @harbhajan_singh bowled on these kind of wickets they would be sitting on a thousand and 800 ?🤔However congratulations to 🇮🇳 @akshar2026 what a spell! congratulations @ashwinravi99 @ImIshant 💯

Others chimed in saying that the pitch was unnecessarily being blamed.
Ash anna🔥🔥🔥
Perfect reply for the haters…sorry sorry for the jealousy people😅
Ind 36 all out against aus (poor batting poor fielding) ……Eng 81 all out against ind (poor pitch) 😒🤨 https://t.co/PTRhhbST9F— Sparkling moon (@SparklingMoon) February 26, 2021
You are right, people can judge everything from outside, which may not be true all the time. Only the person goes through the process know it better. All overseas pundit saying pitch was not great or could have been like that etc. Ash is saying that only.We will stand by you

I just want to ask that when BATSMAN can have FLAT TRACK tk bat nicely and score plenty of runs
Why cant bowlers have something for them
Since the evolution of T20 this game have always been a graveyard for Bowlers
And when in few intances Bowlers bowled nicely
Pitch is blamed— Arshi Chauhan (@ArshiChauhan3) February 26, 2021
A few appreciated the cricketer for the way he had put across his opinion.
If he was not a Cricketing Legend, he would have been a management guru. Knowledgeable Chennai boy @ashwinravi99 https://t.co/88zE1zwyra

Ashwin isn't only a smart tweaker (of the ball)
but also a smart tweeter (of words).@ashwinravi99 would make a fine captain. 🇮🇳✌️ https://t.co/k6HGWZcJrK

The cricketer has now clarified that his tweets are regarding his profession and has asked everyone not to give meaning or interpretations to them.
This is exactly what I said in my series of tweets!! I don’t want any of you all to try and give meaning to or politicise my tweets. My profession is cricket and that’s what I have spoken about, please don’t add flavour to skew minds. https://t.co/SCn9AdqQ9u

So, let’s just look at them at face value and stop finding context.
