In a horrifying incident in Haryana, a man brutally murdered his grandmother with an iron object for not attending his son’s party. The accused, 22-year-old Vicky had thrown a party for celebrating the birth of his newborn son. He invited his grandparents Ramdevi and Ram Avtar to the celebrations. They used to stay separately from their family due to differences over a property dispute.
But due to some reasons, Ramdevi could not attend the party. Upset with this, Vicky rushed to their home and had an argument with his grandmother which turned violent. Furious Vicky attacked his 70-year-old grandmother with an iron object. She was rushed to a nearby hospital but doctors declared her brought dead.
“Vicky attacked his grandmother Ramdevi with an iron object. She was taken to a hospital but the doctors declared her as brought dead,” deceased’s husband Ram Avatar told India Today.
A case has been registered against Vicky, his mother Nirmala and father Jai Kumar. Nirmala and Vicky have been arrested by the police. “The accused had attacked his grandmother with an iron turner. The postmortem of the deceased has been conducted. We have arrested two accused and the third will be arrested soon,” said SHO Surendra Kamboj.
Such brutal crimes that take place due to the heat of the moment are both shocking and saddening. We hope the accused is soon brought to justice.
