Travelling with kids via air is one of the most difficult tasks in the world. There’s no escape, there’s limited room for play and also a limited form of entertainment options. So any help you can get is always a big welcome.
A man called Wesley Thomas was recently travelling with his niece who started to fuss on board a flight to Tampa. Another kind man turned around and offered to help.
He pulled out his iPad and helped keep the little one entertained with a drawing app on it.
Wesley took to Twitter to share the sweet story and it is sure to melt your hearts, guys. Read on.
On route to Tampa, and this man noticed my niece starting to fuss. He turned to what we thought would be a scolding, but says “would she like to draw?” He pulls out a tablet from the overhead bin and hands it to her. “I have 4 daughters 😊” he said. Y’all, look at his face. 💕 pic.twitter.com/dVqo9g1B8H

After Wesley’s tweet became viral, the little girl’s dad also commented on the tweet and gave some more info and also expressed his gratitude towards the kind stranger.

Then someone suggested the boogie board. I’m not sure if it’s the same thing, but I used to love this one board as a child which you can draw and erase again and again.

Another pro-tip for parents travelling with little kids.
My wife is Thai and we’ve made the 24 hour flight 3 times w/our now 4 year old. Crayons/paper, movies Sing, Polar Express, Cars & 2 seasons of Paw Patrol. These are spread across 2 phones and 2 iPads so that we don’t get stuck. Some of it is planning flights at times he sleeps.

Not long ago, there was another similar incident in which a woman travelling alone with two kids was helped out by a kind stranger on a flight.
It is incidents like these that restore our faith in niceness, kindness and chivalry. God bless the old man for stepping in and offering to help.
