The aftermath of the Uri attacks by terrorists and the surgical strikes, wiping out terrorist camps on LoC have created a lot of tension. In Mumbai, the division of MNS led by Raj Thackeray, MNS Chitrapat Sena demanded that all Pakistan artists be deported out of India within 48 hours. The Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) under T.P. Aggarwal, took the decision of banning them altogether.
Salman Khan, when asked what he thinks about banning Pakistani artists, said that they’re artists, not terrorists.
