Indian Twitter Celebrates Surgical Strikes By The Indian Army While Pak Calls It A Bluff

The recent Uri attacks caused a stir across the globe and heightened tensions between India and Pakistan. Due to such a less than conducive environment, PM Modi even decided not to attend the SAARC Summit in November. Last night, the Indian Army took some even more radical action.

Last night, the Indian Army conducted surgical strikes across the LoC (Line of Control) and took out numerous terrorists camped in the area.

“Significant casualties have been caused to terrorists and those trying to shield them.”

The Defence Ministry released a statement later saying they have no intention of conducting any further such attacks.

According to Lt  Gen Ranbir Singh, the terrorists were camped at launchpads by the LoC, waiting to infiltrate and attack areas in Kashmir and some metro cities in the country.

“We have recovered items including GPS which have Pakistani markings. Captured terrorists hailing from PoK or Pakistan have confessed to their training in Pakistan or in Pakistan controlled region.”

In their statement, the Directorate of Military Intelligence (DGMO) also said that there were no Indian casualties during the surgical strikes.

Soon after news of the strike was released, Twitter exploded with reactions.

I wouldn’t want to comment on the morality of these strikes, but they sure managed to significantly stir up tensions between the two nations.
