107 YO Woman Credits Her Long Life To Travelling Often & Staying Unmarried!

Who doesn’t want to live a healthy and long life? While we are struggling to find that elixir of life, here is a 107-year-old woman who has survived the tides of time and candidly shares her secret to living a long life.

A 107-year-old New Yorker spilt the beans and shared her secret of living healthy. You’ve gotta trust her because she’s been around ever since the Titanic hit an iceberg!

Louise Jean Signore, who lives in the Bronx in New York, recently celebrated her 107th birthday in the presence of hundreds of friends and family members. Born in 1912 in Manhattan, she says the secret to her long life is ‘never getting married’.

While that may be a deal-breaker to some, her mantra to live for more than a century is actually being single.

“I think the secret of 107: I never got married. I think that’s the secret. My sister says, ‘I wish I never got married,” she says.

Apart from living life on her own, Louise also credits a healthy diet, regular exercise, being upbeat and travelling often for living through the years.

“Food and exercise and you have to have a system if you go to sleep at 11, don’t go to at 9 o’ clock, at 2 o’clock, that’s not good. If they have exercise, I do the exercise. If they have dancing, I dance. I still do a little dancing. After my lunch, I will play bingo, so I had a full day.”

An adventurous spirit that she is, it seems longevity runs in Louise’s genes. She was one of four siblings, three of whom are still alive today, including her baby sister who turned 102-years-old in March.

But Louise is not the oldest woman alive. Alelia Murphy, 114, is the oldest living woman in the United States.

Louise is celebrating more than a century of her healthy life and here we are stressing on not receiving a text from our crush who doesn’t even know we exist. But if this is all we need to live a healthy and long life, then count me in.
