Vaibhavi Merchant Thrashes Filmfare For Nominating Salman Khan For Best Choreographer Award

The Filmfare awards have been the talk of the town in the past few days, and not for any good reasons. From Rishi Kapoor admitting that he purchased an award once to Amaal Mallik and Harshvardhan Kapoor getting outraged on the nominations this year, Filmfare is not getting the kind of publicity it wants. And if you thought that that was the end of it, there is another thing coming for you.

Choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant is the newest member of the ‘anti-Filmfare’ club. She is upset that Salman Khan had been nominated for the award of ‘Best Choreographer’ for the song, ‘Jag Ghoomeya’ in ‘Sultan’.

Although Vaibhavi gave credit to Salman for a step in the song in one of her interviews, she thinks it is unfair to nominate him for the whole song.

Vaibhavi took to Twitter to express her agitation on the nomination.

According to DNA, she even walked out of the event when Salman’s name was announced during the nominations. 

Whether all these accusations are right or not, one thing is for sure that Filmfare’s image is not getting any better with these.
