Watch How This Community Called ‘The Ugly Indian’ Is Cleaning Up The City Of Bangalore!

Let’s lay down the absolute truth here. It’s going to be blunt, and it’s going to hurt. Indians seldom think about public hygiene. And it’s evident from the people pissing at the sidewalks, paan-tobacco spit stains, and the hordes of garbage nonchalantly thrown right under a “Do not litter” sign.

For this reason, Hindustan Times takes a look at ‘The Ugly Indian’, a community on Facebook who takes it in their own hands to beautify their surroundings, instead of waiting for the officials. Their psychology behind this is that people’s minds work in a way that they won’t think to spread dirt around if the surroundings are already beautified.

This is an amazing initiative and they aren’t even getting paid to do this!
