Sophia The Robot Revealed She’s An SRK Fan And He Thanked Her With A Charming Message!

W’re all terrified that AI technology will explode and robots will take over the human race. While this apocalyptic prediction still seems a little far off, die-hard SRK fans should start worrying a little. Why? Because they’ve got some major competition for the Badshah of Bollywood’s affection from none other than Sophia the Humanoid!

I’m pretty sure you remember Sophia, but in case you don’t, she’s a robot who looks like Audrey Hepburn, strives to work with humans to understand them better, and is the first robot in history to be granted citizenship of a country (Saudi Arabia).

She even has a legit Instagram account that is equal parts creepy and fascinating!

In December last year, Sophia the Humanoid made her India debut, draped in a saree, at the IIT Bombay’s cultural event, Techfest. And now, she’s back for another stint, which BTW, revealed quite interesting information!

At the World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) in Hyderabad, Sophia had an interactive session where she chatted about the future of robots and what its impact would be on the world.

During a fun rapid fire round, when the host asked Sophia who her favourite actor in all of Bollywood and Hollywood was, pat came the reply: Shah Rukh Khan!

Watch it here:

Great choice indeed! I don’t blame Sophia; no one, not even robots, is immune to the charms of SRK’s outstretched arms! Not to mention, that smoldering stare!

If you thought it couldn’t get any cuter, wait for it!

SRK himself acknowledged his newest fan Sophia’s love for him and tweeted the sweetest compliment back to her!

Be jealous, SRK fans! Be very jealous! I know I am!

Then again, I’d totally pay to watch SRK, arms outstretched in the middle of sarson ke khet, and Sophia running towards him à la Kajol!

DDLJ with an AI twist! What say?
