Shirish Kunder released his short film Kriti day before yesterday evening and it garnered rave reviews from everyone, viewers, and famous celebrities alike.
A lot of people tweeted in appreciation.

18-minutes wonder is spelled #Kriti. Duration never binds creative awesomeness like @ShirishKunder & @BajpayeeManoj Kudos @Officialneha

But there is something else that also requires the attention as much as the film.
The cloud of doubt shrouded it soon enough when a Nepalese filmmaker Aneel Neupane, made an announcement that when he saw the Kriti, he couldn’t help but compare it to his own work because it was too similar in the storyline as well as the cinematography.
His claim came through a facebook post, which goes like this.
You can see for yourself.

To this, Shirish Kunder made a Twitter response citing the time frame which might send the claim a bit off.
To those comparing #Kriti with some short film released on May 12, 2016:#Kriti was shot in February, 2016.
Hope this settles the matter.

Although according to Shirish Kunder’s tweet it may suggest the release date was in May 2016, Bob has been on Vimeo for 7 months, roughly around December 2015.
If Shirish Kunder did copy the idea for his short film from BOB, then it should be highly condemned. Plagiarism in no way can be supported and appreciated, and the filmmaker who had the original idea deserves the full credit.
