Jennifer Aniston FINALLY Answers Who Deserved Rachel More And Why. Ross Or Joey?

Decades after the 90s show F.R.I.E.N.D.S has gone off air and we are satiating our craving for the show with hundreds of re-runs on TV, Jennifer Aniston still manages to tug at our heart-strings.

This time however, Jennifer Aniston broke the hearts of fans who were rooting for Joey and Rachel. We were the ones who fought with our friends over F.R.I.E.N.D.S and the topic of discussion always was about who deserved Rachel, Joey or Ross.

No matter what anybody tells us, we have seen Joey being there for Rachel even when he was competing with Emma for Hugsy!

 

Recently, a Twitter thread by Claire Willets went viral, where she gave us 100 reasons why Rachel and Joey should be together instead of Ross and Rachel. Here is what the thread claimed:

The thread further supports its claims with strong arguments which prove that Joey was there for Rachel, supporting her and propelling her career forward while Ross was the selfish one, who always felt like he earned Rachel by waiting for her.

 

Many people would still love to carry on the argument over the topic, but Jennifer Aniston, in a recent interview with Elle, disappointed numerous Joey and Rachel fans when she dismissed the reports of the prospects of Joey and Rachel ever being together.

She said,

“It was Ross and Rachel all the way. I really believe that if there’s an after world of Friends, they’re still thriving. I just don’t think Joey and Rachel could have made it. I think it was more physical than emotional with them. They were friends with benefits, and they left it at that.”

Many fans of the show were elated when Rachel and Joey got together in Barbados on the show. They were really rooting for the on-screen couple till the end even when they separated on the show because they shared a hilarious and sizzling chemistry.

For the fans who were still rooting for Joey and Rachel, this is a truly sad day because we had one log of hope to float on. How will we ever watch the show knowing what we know now?
