The floods in Assam are worsening by each passing minute and parts of the state are flooded in torso-deep waters. But, when it is the day every Indian feels proud of and wants to celebrate the unputdownable spirit, how can water come in the way.
In parts of Assam, people are hoisting flags and showing how even in the times of distress, they are proud citizens of our great nation. But, there’s one particular event that’s making us fall short on words. BSF jawans at Guwahati Frontier hoisted the Indian flag in really deep waters.

Their spirit is commendable and how they put their lives on the line just so the people of the nation can stay safe, is a proud feeling none can put down in words.
Soon, Tweeple shared the sentiments and shared how proud they were of the jawans.

BSF jawans are India’s first line of defence and have been safeguarding the India-Pakistan and India-Bangladesh borders since 1965.
Saluting each an every jawan who is out there on the borders. It is because of them we are able to have a peaceful and sound sleep at night.
