The existence of barriers in the world creates a sense of helplessness. You can almost have something, but can’t. A border wall, dividing humanity on the basis of some arbitrary political construct is an imposition. If someone or something prevents you from reaching out to the ones you love, it’s best to rid ourselves of it.

In this video, a group of friends works towards turning the wall which divides the United States and Mexico totally invisible, so that loved ones on either side can feel, even for a moment, that they’re not divided anymore.

Just like a beautiful stroke of paint made the people forget about the imposing barrier holding them back from their loved ones, we must apply a stroke of paint on our own barriers holding us back in life.
