Recently, while watching my niece play and scream around the house, I couldn’t help but think of the times I must have been done the same as a child. My mind inadvertently reverted to the time I used to cheat my Mom into thinking I had had my milk and run out of the house. And when I had no cares for the world and wore my scars as proudly as medals of war.

That’s how you feel when you hear the word ‘Bachpan’. An uneasy feeling that’s a mix or contentment and longing, floating about like forlorn clouds in your mind. You go back into time and partly relive your shenanigans and all the bittersweet memories will bring a smile on your face.
