Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan and actress Sagarika Ghatge recently announced their engagement on Twitter and Indians showered their love on the happy couple without restraint. And now, everyone is waiting for the wedding!
In an interview, Sagarika talks about deciding on the wedding dates once the IPL gets over and that is pretty thoughtful!
“We will probably plan everything after the IPL because it is too soon right now and we are in the middle of the IPL season. It would be wrong to even discuss it right now.”
And now comes the interesting part, Sagarika opens up about how Zaheer proposed and it will melt you.
“We went to Goa for a holiday. It was just the two of us there and I had no idea that he is going to propose. It was a complete surprise.”
Surprises are always so much more romantic! Sagarika also added that they would have a proper engagement after the IPL season.
People were speculating their relationship since they were spotted together at Yuvraj Singh’s wedding and Sagarika says,
“Everyone kept asking us about our relationship. Now that engagement is done, why not share it with everyone? This is very important for us. It is always better for this to come from us than from anybody else.”
