Just think of this. You went to a club or any public place. A random guy comes to you, tries to be friendly and then hands you his number badly written on a tissue paper. Most of us would just ignore the random male and probably even storm out of the spot. But this girl decided to take some advantage of it. Just when the guy thought he has hit the jackpot when Emily Cain took his number, she decided to make it memorable for him.
Going beyond the typical, ‘hi’ and ‘hello’, Emily initiated the conversation by sending guy (she saved his number as ‘guy’) a spam message and pretended to be someone from an ‘animal rescue centre’, reported Metro.
Emily then google searched a photo of a baby chimp and shared one of the first search results she came upon. Obviously, the man tried to opt-out of the subscription and replied, ‘STOP’ to her text. But unfortunately, the rescue centre ‘goofed-up’ and ended up deducting additional money from the guy’s account. At least, that’s what he was thinking.
He again tried stopping the supposed financial transaction but in vain. The ‘rescue centre’ reverted saying he has been charged with another £3 (Rs. 240 approx.) a month for a cuddly toy version of his new pet. He again receives a text suggesting that his account was debited as he has now adopted Bubbles’ mother, Bonnie.
After the guy lost all his patience he asked for the rescue centre’s support number.
The man was then informed that he was pranked by Emily.
Emily shared the screenshots of her conversation with the stranger on Twitter.
